Building on a long-time technical sales and support relationship, Micro Technology Group has an expanded territory and is now shipping New Scale M3 products from stock

Victor, NY – September 2021 – New Scale Technologies (newscaletech.com) has expanded its non-exclusive distribution agreement with its long-time technical sales partner Micro Technology Group (mtgelectronics.com).  Micro Technology Group now has an expanded territory that encompasses the entire United States, and will stock New Scale’s M3 Smart Stages, Micro Motion Modules and developer’s kits at its facility in Massachusetts.

Additionally, Micro Technology Group will sell New Scale’s M3 Developer’s Kits from its new online store, electroverge.com, to customers in the USA.  The company will also offer value-added services including the assembly of multi-axis modules.

“I have been extremely impressed with Micro Technology Group’s technical sales staff over the eight years we have worked together,” said Heidi Quinlivan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for New Scale Technologies. “They have invested in understanding our M3 technology and how to help engineers embed M3 micro motion solutions into next-generation OEM products.”

New Scale M3 Modules combine micro motors, precision mechanisms, and electronic drive and control functions into small, optimized, easy-to-integrate devices. M3 Modules interface directly with the customer’s system processor to enable fastest product development and smallest system size.

“Our expanded relationship brings significant value to New Scale customers, including enhanced technical support through the development cycle, and a simplified procurement process,” said Spencer Simons, President of Micro Technology Group. “By maintaining evaluation kit inventory, we are better able to respond to our customers quickly, satisfy their immediate needs, and reduce their time to market.”

Micro Technology Group has a sophisticated line card of products that are synergistic with M3 modules. The company’s account managers hold technical degrees and have held sales leadership and executive positions and acted in advisory roles to leading electronic component manufacturers such as Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Microchip, KEMET Electronics and Vishay Intertechnology.

Electroverge online shop to reduce product design cycle

Micro Technology Group’s new online store, electroverge.com, offers its customers a streamlined purchasing model for specialty electronic components and provides niche suppliers like New Scale Technologies with an economical online vehicle for product sales. Micro Technology Group sales engineers support store customers with a high level of specialized product knowledge and technical expertise to help customers specify and use these products.

“The large online distributors are focused primarily on low-touch, high-volume commodity products,” Simons explained. “While they support the primary category brands, they are less focused on design-intensive technologies offered by niche, less well-known manufacturers. Our firm has successfully focused on these niche technologies for many years, and we look forward to continued success with New Scale.”
