Sales Support Coordinator

New Scale Technologies is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Sales and Marketing team and our sales objectives. This position requires the ability to work in a fast- paced team environment with excellent communication and prioritization skills. Located at our Rochester, NY engineering and manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, hourly position at $18-$20 per hour.

Enter quotes at direction of sales team into Enterprise Wide Planning (ERP)/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Receive, obtain approval and enter customer purchase order into ERP/CRM system.

For new customers, ensure paperwork is received and setup customer in SyteLine – ERP System.

Work with Materials and Production managers to confirm ship dates of customer orders.

Prepare and deliver order acknowledgements to the customer; manage ship date changes through the system.

Manage customer accounts, follow up with customers for administrative purposes and provide troubleshooting assistance for orders, account status, etc.

Maintain SalesForce CRM data and distribute reports as assigned.

Attend and contribute to Sales and Marketing meetings.

Answer and direct all incoming calls on the main number.

Monitor Sales Admin emails and create SalesForce tasks as needed.

Manage submissions from the Multi-probe Manipulator (MPM) portal and log in SalesForce.

Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Distributor contracts and export compliance forms.

Arrange Sales and Marketing team travel.

Maintain an organized and accessible filing system.

Assist with trade show preparations.

Manage and renew memberships and subscriptions.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Associate’s degree in Business Administration or similar field desired.

Minimum 3 years previous experience in sales administration or a similar role.

Experience with a CRM tool desirable, ideally SalesForce.

Proficiency with MS Office tools.

An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills.

The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.

We are seeking a self-motivated sales executive to lead our sales efforts of this key business unit. You will:


Spend 100% of your effort on direct selling using a consultative and documented sales process.

Engage the full company as needed to qualify, quote, propose and win accounts. This includes compiling, editing and finalizing proposals.

Achieve the revenue growth and gross margin objectives for the division.

Execute sales strategy to grow Q-Span Workstation sales to industrial customers, specifically targeting small and medium-sized companies with high-mix, small-batch manufacturing operations.

Travel to customers for meetings and demos – more than 30% of weekly schedule.

Lead and direct the expansion of our sales channels in the market of QC automation.

Ideally work at our company office near Rochester. Virtual work based from other cities will be considered.
