New Scale Technologies Names Dan Viggiano III Vice President of Business Development
May 1, 2006 - Victor, NY - New Scale Technologies today announced the promotion of
Dan Viggiano III to the position of vice president of business development. Viggiano has been manager of engineering
and operations at New Scale since 2003.
“Dan has been instrumental in developing our engineering capabilities, creating our standard product line, and identifying target markets and new opportunities,” said David Henderson, president of New Scale Technologies. “His detailed knowledge of our customers and applications has been key to our growth and success.”
Viggiano was previously with Burleigh Instruments (now EXFO Burleigh Products Group), where he designed and led the development of several new products including piezoelectric-based micromanipulators for life science research, six-axis precision robots for photonics alignment, and optical interferometers for measuring the wavelength of telecom lasers. He has an MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
