Developer’s kits now available for tiny M3-F focus module for use in miniature OEM cameras (read the news release) 

 

M3-F Developer’s Kits include an M3-F focus module along with a USB key and New Scale Pathway PC software. This gives designers a graphical user interface to drive the lens holder and evaluate its motion. (Lens and image sensor are not included in the kit.). The first prototypes in New Scales’ new Ultra-Thin AutoFocus Family (UTAF) actuator family measure less than 1 mm thick. Piezo ceramics from EPCOS integrate multiple actuator functions and independent electrical connections into a single co-fired ceramic component used in the UTAF.
