We are growing rapidly and constantly seeking talented, energetic people in
engineering and related disciplines. We are especially interested in candidates with training or experience
in piezoelectric devices and miniature motion systems. This may include:
- Theoretical analysis, computer modeling and optimization (ideally for ultrasonic devices)
- Piezoelectric component selection and qualification
- Hands-on device fabrication and testing
- Micrometer-precision design, fabrication and assembly
- High-volume micro manufacturing (ideally with international experience)
Current openings
Mechanical design engineer
Support engineering in developing products and technology; work
closely with R&D on transferring products into production. Use CAD
to transform product designs into working documents with
consideration for correct proportions, allowable stress, speed,
weight, operational details, manufacturing methods, tolerances and
costs. Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence
to established specifications and standards. Support experimental
manufacture and test of prototype assemblies. Maintain relationships
with vendors.
Qualifications:
- Associates or technical degree in CAD, engineering design or
related field or 3+ years of experience in the field.
- Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts,
practices, and procedures.
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles and 3D CAD
skills to a wide range of component, assembly and
production fixture design challenges.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, is
required. Familiarity with Animator and PhotoWorks is a plus.
- The ability to effectively communicate technical information
verbally or in writing is essential.
